Queer Britain needs your help to ensure that we keep moving towards our shared goal of opening a national LGBTQ+ museum.

With all of us in lockdown and the London Marathon canceled, charities are asking for your help having some fun to make up vital lost funds, and so we are all taking part in the #TwoPointSix challenge.

We are asking our supporters and friends to fundraise for us by doing something fun based around the numbers 2.6 and 26, and complete it from Sunday 26 April (or as close to then as you can), when it would have been the 40th London Marathon.

You could get together 26 friends online for a 26 minute Joe Wicks' workout, you could race friends to come up with a list of 26 queer icons the fastest, walk 2.6 km around your house dressed in a makeshift costume of your favourite queer inspiration, or do 26 laps of your garden/balcony whilst channeling your inner Captain Tom Moore. The possibilities are endless.

Once you know what you are going to do, click on the Fundraise for us button on this page to set up your personal fundraising page (it's very easy and you'll be guided through the process).

Ask colleagues, friends and family to sponsor you, to take part in the challenge or to run their own to help support Queer Britain and don't forget to tell everyone what you are up to on social media, and add #QueerBritain #TwoPointSixChallenge so we can retweet your message and please share a pic/vids using the same #hashtags

Whatever you choose, PLEASE stay safe and make sure that you follow the rules on exercise and social distancing.

Thank you and ENJOY! We can't wait to see what you get up to!
