My Story

I believe a 'bricks & mortar' LGBTQ+ national museum is as important to our community and wider society as any legislation. A space where people can visit and see things and learn about their past is a vital part of a nation's cultural health and understanding. For too long history has been locked away for LGBTQ+ people. Today we have the chance to reverse that for generations to come.

In these difficult times @QueerBritain needs our help more than ever to ensure the goal of opening a national LGBTQ+ museum.

I've put together a personal list of 26 British icons and artefacts I'd like to see in the museum.
